Cancelling the renewal takes paperwork: Bordr's own guide (updated 14 November 2025) asks for an updated NIF document or a certificate of tax residence, submitted in their app. A small number of their reviews describe a renewal charged after a cancellation request. Start well before the anniversary and keep written confirmation.
